The deep chocolate color of the stock and forestock plays off the yellow gold finish; the texture of the lizard skin on the other hand speaks to the satin-finished palladium of the barrel and magazine. Bold choices inspired by audacious associations, allayed as it were by the arabesque engraving that intrigues as much as it soothes the senses.

Exploring the unknown behind the known

The intention was never to simply attach a clock to a gun. L'Épée ingeniously redesigned the iconic Winchester's loading and cocking mechanism to wind the timekeeping caliber. They also reimagined the barrel system for time indication and setting. In the original rifle, the magazine held up to 15 rounds without reloading. It is only fitting that the reimagined Winchester clock requires 15 lever actions to fully wind the mechanism, providing a power reserve of approximately 7 days.
