Adam DesRosiers M.S. #1
INQUIRIES ONLY
Made in the spirit of braving the Alaskan bush, with a thick blade and a natural Hamon that give the strength, robustness and resilience of a tool that can take anything nature throws at it. Its poise and power are reflected in understated refinements like carbon fiber and blued titanium. His knives may be “born in the mind of a barbarian with a fire and a hammer”, but Adam has a rare knack for bringing out all the elegance that comes from purity of purpose. The blued titanium spacer is one such tasteful touch, marking a smooth yet deliberate transition from the parkerized steel of the blade to the titanium of the guard to the carbon of the handle.

Knifemaker

Adam DesRosiers

From Alaska, USA.

Adam knows and loves knives for as long as he can remember. Born into a family of homesteaders and commercial fishermen, the feeling a knife in his hand on a daily basis has been familiar to him from the age of three. Adam’s art is founded on an intuitive understanding of how to use knives and a lifetime of studying the design aspects that make them perform as tools and weapons. Adam began making knives professionally in 2004, attending the American Blade Society’s bladesmithing school and studying under Master Smiths, such as Jason Knight and Rodrigo Sfreddo. He achieved his Master Smith rating in 2011. He lives off-grid with his wife Haley, also a Master Smith, and their two young children. Hunting, fishing, bladesmithing and pioneer living are part of their everyday way of life.
